Terms of Service
The basic conditions and responsibility boundaries that apply when using yutils.
Last updated: 2026-05-15
These terms apply to your use of the yutils site and its tools. By using yutils, you agree to these terms.
1. About the service
yutils is a free collection of tools available without any sign-up. Individual tools may be added, changed, or retired in response to hosting costs, traffic patterns, and legal requirements.
2. No warranty; user responsibility
All yutils tools are provided 'AS IS' without warranties — express or implied — regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Before relying on a tool's output for real decisions, code, or documents, it is your responsibility to verify the result.
3. Your content
Data, files, and images you put into the tools remain yours. yutils does not store your input on any server or transmit it to third parties. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to whatever you put into the tools.
4. Limitation of liability
The maintainer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages (lost data, lost profit, business interruption, etc.) arising from your use of yutils — including damages caused by errors, omissions, or interruptions in tool output.
5. Source code license
The source code is published on GitHub at github.com/pplenty/yutils under the license declared in the repository. Outputs generated by the tools (converted text, generated passwords, OG images, etc.) belong to you.
6. Prohibited use
Automated, abusive, or security-circumventing traffic — and any deliberate attempt to exhaust hosting resources — is not allowed. Such activity may be blocked at the IP / User-Agent level.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may change without prior notice in response to operational changes. Substantive changes will bump the 'Last updated' date above and may also be announced at the top of the site.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any disputes related to yutils are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the court covering the maintainer's address acting as the first-instance venue.
9. Contact
For terms-related questions, please open a GitHub issue at github.com/pplenty/yutils/issues or email the maintainer.
